The Cox House Inn is located in Johnston, South Carolina on Hwy. 121 (connecting I-20 with I-26). The Inn is a turn of the century renovated Victorian home. The Cox House consists of four suites. Each suite has a living area, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom private bath, cable television, central heat and air conditioning, and a private phone. A continental breakfast and housekeeping service are provided daily.

Comfortable furnishings and vintage decor welcomes the overnight guest or extended stay traveler.

The innkeepers do not live in The Cox House; however, the innkeepers do live within 5 minutes and are available to assist guests. Reservations can be made in advance by telephone or email.

Johnston, South Carolina, with a population of 2800, is well known for its peach and farming industry. The Cox House Inn is just one block from the main street with restaurants and shopping. The Edgefield County Chamber of Commerce building is located on the next block. Edgefield, the county seat, is 7 minutes away.

The Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta is within an easy drive, and there are two golf courses (Persimmon Hill and Pine Ridge) within ten minutes. Distance to the nearest cities is as follows: Aiken, SC, 25 minutes; Augusta, GA, 40 minutes; and Columbia, SC, is one hour.
